Basing on the techniques of GPS ComGIS WebGIS image processing and wireless communication techniques such as GSM, GPRS, CDMA and microwave... etc., considering combine the railway geography information system( call the RGIS as follows) application project, a series of application schemes visualization management and long-distance supervising and controlling applied project is integrated and realized in the paper, which refer to an initial integrated application result between the techniques of spatial information and wireless communication. The contents presented are as follows:1) The long-distance GPS movable mapping is carried out following the rules of that "take GIS as the core; take GPS, GSM as two wings", the program designs of communication by Serial port between the GPS OEM mold and GSM mold is achieved, the program designs of analysis and withdraw shooting and receiving Gauss transformation graphic drawing are achieved also.2) The function of long-distance supervising controlling and alert based on the image is implemented by rule of that "take GIS as the core, take GPRS as the link, with the major means of image delivering and image processing". The long-distance supervision application project is designed. The sub-modules such as video frequency image supervision data transmission from point to point capture of video frequency based on VFW alert based on supervising image changing are implemented. Moreover, Research on the application of long-distance image supervision by wireless network of GPRS/CDMA and microwave communication is continuance to some extent that the image data from wireless supervision images can be accessed to the data management plat of RGIS.3) The RGIS data-managing platform has been designed taking advantage of MapX. The basic functions such as opening up saving zoom in zoom out pan hawk-eye navigation and layer management of the digital maps have been interactively realized. The common functions such as symbol execution, feature collection, symbol edition, image updating and blurry inquiring have been brought about.4) In order to share, distribute and long-distance supervise and manage the image information of the pipeline information, device information, weather information and incidents unexpected along the railway by image through wireless net, the geographical manage platform is built using the components of WebGIS—SuperMap IS which belong to the SuperMap Company.5) Having transformed the information such as direction and mileage into the railway coordinate system strictly following the designing formula of the railway curve. The visualization of two-dimensioned railway information could be implemented by the component of MapX of MAPINFO and the relative component of SuperMap. And OpenGL in VC realizes the visualization of three-dimensioned railway information.
