There exist notable differences in physical property of oil layer in the three Pubei faults, andserious interformational, intraformational and areal heterogeneity, and unequal flooding in differentoil layers. By 2003 there are 185 oil wells and 107 injection wells in the experimental areas in theNo.3 Pubei fault, with a cumulative production of 759.12×104t crude oil and 1172.76×10~4m~3 water. As for such contributing factors that water content rises dramatically and the yield graduallydecreases, low degree of water-drive control, large proportion of unilateral connection in the area, the results of twice infill adjustment, subject to sedimentary environment and limitations of floodpattern, show that the irrationality of injection-production pattern led to production withoutinjection or injection without production in some local well fields or imbalance ofinjection-production in single sand-body, which seriously restrict waterflooding pattern adjustment. This thesis uses plane gridded simulation in the same layer of the single sand bed, testifies thematching relationship between fine geology and block geological characteristics by the descriptiontechnology of facies-controlled geological simulation and corresponding physical property, thengives the water cut, cumulative oil production, reserves criteria after numerical reservoir simulationby computer group and PBRS software, predicts the vertical and plane distribution of remaining oilin different members in different periods, calculates the remaining reserves. On the basis of thesestudies, the thesis thought that imbalance between injection and production is the reason why theremaining oil was formed, and points out that the potentialities mainly concentrates on the thick oillayer with better reservoir physical property, designs the development program by multidisciplinarystudies, and then testifies the dependability of the model and feasibility of the program. Thecombination of dynamic and static methods is used to study the distribution of remaining oil in theregion of interest, which lays the foundation for the adjustment plan to tap the potentialities.
