Through analysis the actualities characters and the development of the data-baseof mineral in our country. This thesis shows the importance of establishing normativemineral describing standard. Putting forward a mineral specimen resource describingstandard which used in National Infrastructure Of Resources For Science andTechnology, base on existing information about trim criterion and combine the needsof date-base and network.This thesis explain the standard in theory from five aspects: mineral classifiedstandard, the range of using, definition of mineral, basic data and particular content.The basic data includes database number, data number, Chinese name, species name,locality, province, country, supper group of samples, group of samples, resourcesname, coding, geological age, occurrence/horizon, value, diagnosis, practical usage,provider, provided date, longitude, latitude, altitude, image, address and so on. Theparticular content includes genesis, composition, crystal structure description, crystalstructure, form description, form, color, streak, diaphaneity, luster, hardness, density,cleavage, fracture, other physical properties, optical properties, other analysesdescription, other analyses pictures, notes and publication.Basing upon the standard and combine with Hunan Reconnaissance Institute ofGeoscience' investigate case the author does systematically research on the allanite inthe Qitianling , Chenzhou, Hunan province as example, and described it according tothis mineral specimen resource describing standard.In this study, the author introduce the whole process of allanite's selection andpreparation. After office study analysis,the author select representative adjacentformation and barren measures, then make them into polished thin section,observing it's optical character and analyzing it with electron microprobe to get themain chemical component as well as analyse whether rare deposit could formed in thediggings.Through X-ray diffraction spectrum, infrared spectrum and Raman spectrumresearch, then comparing this Allinate' X-ray diffraction spectrum and infraredspectrum with metamict Allinate', so as to get its metamict degree .
