Gps-based Telemetry To Track The Technical Realization

At present, people are increasingly applying GPS to mapping,navigation,communications and many other fields. The research on using GPS to realize object tracking exploits a new area on GPS application. The aim of this thesis is to deal with GPS position technology, realize automatic moving target tracking,which belongs to a part of portable telemetry tracking systems.This paper firstly introduces the evolution of the Global Position System and the basic position theory. Secondly, author develops an applied receive system based on GPS76, which can receive the satellitic signal of GPS and communicate with computer via serial port, then writes the receive program according to the output protocol to acquire position information of tracking station. Thirdly, TCP/IP network protocol is discussed. In Windows-XP, network communication programming that is implemented through Microsoft'Winsock API and IP multicast technique realizes GPS data collection of moving target. Lastly, completes whole software of tracking system and analyses all kind of error. All the program is finished by C++ language in Visual C++.The test results show that the methods of self-programming are effective, convenient to expand the functions of system, and tracking on the spot also validates its credibility.
