Considering the hazard of Subsided column to coal mining and the low precision of detection of Subsided column with 3D seismic exploration, the method of applying Wavelets Analysis to raise the resolution and mutations of Subsided column is put forward in this paper.First, the paper concludes the development of Wavelets Analysis research and its explicit application in interpretation of Subsided column with 3D seismic data; then, it is described for the basic concept, the geology characteristic, the classification and hazard of Subsided column etc.; next, subject about the principle of Wavelets Analysis and the method to carry out is discussed; by means of seismic theoretical model analysis, the method of Wavelets Analysis and seismic attribute interpretation technique is used which verified the validity of Wavelets Analysis in detection of Subsided column; finally, through the processing and analysis of YangQuan and LuAn Subsided column data, it is proved that Wavelets Analysis improved the seismic data resolution greatly and the Subsided column can be explained more easily and more accurately in Wavelets processed seismic data. This paper is just an initial application of Wavelets Analysis in Subsided column seismic exploration, but it is important that this is the first research introducing Wavelets Analysis into Subsided column seismic exploration. So it is important for 3D-Seismic exploration applied in Subsided column surveying.
