This dissertation consists of three chapters, in which we discuss the confidence lower limit of the steady state availiability of the repairable system with delayed-repair time, and the reliability estimations of the unrepairable systems.In Chapter I , we introduce the background of the reliability theory , research method and the organization and structure of this dissertation.In Chapter II, we introduce the confidence lower limit which is derived by traditional method and generalized p—value method, respectively . And the coverage ratio of the confidence lower limit is given out by numerical method.In Chapter III, we have presented a Bayesian approach for estimating the parameters included in non-independent and non-identical components of series system subjected to sources of fatal shocks , the Bayesian estimation of the reliability which of the system we have given in this section and their minimal posterior risks. The failure rate of the components of the system is linearly dependent on time. Bayes estimators for the values of reliability components of the system are obtained. Gamma prior distributions are assumed for the unknown parameters to be estimated. Special cases of the obtained results are presented to show how the present results generalize the results in other literatures.
