Recently plasma actuator used in the flowing control is focus which reseacher paid great attention to. One Atomosphonere Glow Discharge Plasma(OAGDP) can be produced and this can be used in flow control because it induces gas flow. Obvious effects on flowing seperation control and flow re-attachment can be observed in experiment. Current studies are mainly concerned about corresponding experiments, especially under low speed condition. Computational simulation on this subject is still at dawning. Precise models for this problem are not available yet, researchers can only consult to theories which are mainly based upon solving the distribution of electricfield. This author developed a simplified model for the plasma actuator according to some former attempts and did simulations to see how this model induces the resting air surrounding actuator. It was found that with this model air at still can be forced to move and finally the boundary layer is changed when the actuator is active. Effects upon control on flow over airfoil SD8020 are studied. More attentions are paid to test the performance of actuator when airfoil is NACA0015. Where to place the actuator is also studied to find out how to obtain a good effect with a certain strength. Results showed that it is better to set the actuator near the leading edge than any other places and inducing strength plays a key role on flow control. This approach can effctively delay the flow seperation and increases lift while reduces drag. It is proved to be a quite hopeful method of active flow control..
