Multi-pole acoustic array logging is a way of measuring the acoustic characteristic about stratum to analyze the stratum. Different blast-off spectrum explorers are used, it can excitated Compression Wave, Shear Wave and Stonely Wave purposefully. The three waves have different characteristic which are relative to hole, saturation and stress of stratum for transmission in different stratums. Besides detecting the head wave, we can measure and record the data of acoustic full waveform through which we can acquire abundance latter waves. Because of the large numbers of data and various signals in multi-pole acoustic array logging, we mainly use TMS320VC5416 and Cyclone chip for processing and control based on the theory of multi-pole acoustic array logging.The parts of the signal adjusting, the signal sampling and the digital signal processing are introduced in this thesis. Chapter 1 introduces the development of multi-pole acoustic array logging, the situation domestic or abroad and the significance of this project. Chapter 2 introduces the theory of acoustic logging and the main structure of the system. Chapter 3 expatiates upon the particular design of the circuit of previous signal processing. Chapter 4 introduces the main design of A/D transformation and digital signal processing firstly. Then it expatiates on the design of every part of the circuit of signal sampling and processing. In the end it puts forward an arithmetic for picking up the head wave through analyzing the characteristic of acoustic signals which are sampled. Chapter 5 lists the results of experiment under special environment. Chapter 6 summarizes the whole thesis and introduces the foreground of acoustic logging.
