We propose a scheme to generate cluster state using three-level artificial atomswith cyclic population transfer. This kind of atoms can be implemented by a super-conducting quantum circuit. We utilize the atoms interact with a bimodal cavity,and a classical field is synchronously coupled with its two lowest energy levels. Ourscheme is novel and different from the conventional atomic systems, since the addi-tional coupling between the external field and the two lowest energy levels providesus a new parameter to control the system. The cluster states only involve metastablestates of the atoms, thus are not affected by spontaneous emission. |
