The calculus mainly researches property,operation and application of derivative of function and integral, is one of the mathematic basic subjects. Many methods and thought used in researching calculus are really heuristic. It's necessary to study and control these thought and methods which will be beneficial to raise students'comprehensive quality and even to their lifelong education. Its importance is more outstanding nowadays. However , disturbed by the universities and the common senior high schools expanding to recruit and employment crisis etc. perplexing of factor in recent years, the secondary vocational school's recruitment of students appears the phenomenon which the whole glides down, not only the fresh source but also the student quality. And the present condition and result of calculus teaching makes us more worried. In new century,the secondary vocational education was even put forward higher of request. The traditional teaching mode in the secondary vocational schools faces a rigorous challenge. This topic combines the occupation school calculus teaching present condition,sets out from cognition level of the students, science system and social need, carries on first step in the calculus teaching reform in the secondary vocational schools, puts forward and pays attention to link higher mathematics with elementary mathematics well, stresses teaching thought of"three basic",makes class teaching more visual,pays attention to the actual application of calculus and enrich teaching means. The author has carried on education reform experiment and made a comparison in Workers'School of Henan Anyang Iron & Steel Company, and has obtained initial result. The experiment confirms the above mentioned reform can stir up the students'study interest, raise calculus teaching quality, make the students study basic mathematics thought better from it, raise the students'mathematics cultivated manners with whole character, develop their thinking ability and creative ability better, foster their good character quality.
