The reform of mathematical education in our nation has lasted for over half a century, however, some misunderstanding about "what mathematics is" and with this related "what mathematical educational purpose is" still exists up to the present. As the core of the concept of science development, the idea that is known as "basing on people" has infiltrated into every field of the society, mathematical education included. Form 1980s, the study from the view of social cultures has become the trend of mathematical education, and people have realized that it is the mathematical culture that benefit students all their lives. This study is based on the concept of mathematical culture, combined with the situation of the calculus learning in senior professional colleges. The new teaching mode is a kind of education that aims at improving student's quality, by which the mathematical culture infiltrates into the classroom teaching. It is recognized that too much abstract or exactness is not necessary for senior professional education, but a barrier to success. The new teaching mode will help that students learn to use mathematical thinking to observe things around and to cope with practical problems. Based on calculus culture, the study explores the reform in teaching contents and teaching methods and then puts it into practice, aiming at drilling mathematical thinking and the foundation of mode sense. This paper indicates: It benefits students a lot that mathematical culture infiltrates into teaching: to improve students' interest for mathematical learning, to strengthen the sense of mathematical culture, to deepen the understanding of mathematics and to enhance students' mathematical quality. The paper consists of parts: First, the necessity and value of mathematical culture education. Second, illustration of the theory of mathematical culture. In this part, mathematical culture is defined, combined with other theories and characters of students in senior professional colleges. The relationship between mathematical culture and calculus teaching is analyzed. Third, experimental study. Fourth, teaching strategy based on the theory.
