The J22~J1 section of the Gaofengchang structure in east Sichuan region is the emphasis area for oil and gas exploration & research, and its reservoir characteristics and distribution are the key issues for the oil and gas exploration and prediction in the study area. Therefore, this study selects the reservoir of the J22~J1 section for research and applies multi-subjects theories and methods to analyze and predict the reservoir characters on the basis of former study.In this paper, based on the analysis of the regional geological background and the exploring history, using the core data and sheet identification, the paper ascertained that the main reservoir rock types and its physical properties, reservoir space types, fracture characteristics and reservoir pore structure characteristics. The author deem that the reservoir capability is poor in the mass, mostly for low porosity and low permeability hole, fissure -hole, and the type of hole - fracture; but the reservoir performance are good in regional and local level, which may constitute middle-holes, middle permeability type and fissure-hole reservoir. Afterwards, the paper concludes the main control factors which control the reservoir, and also analyzes the deposition, diagenesis and tectonic impact. According to the J22~J1 strati- graphic features, rock facies characteristics and previous research, the author deem that the terrestrial environment spread all over the epicontinental sea-platform at the transgression time when the J1 depositing, the environment character is the normal sea-platform sedimentary; the study results indicate that the location-evaporation platform environment when theJ2J1 sediment is good to the reservoir formatting and evaluating. The paper mainly analyzes the diagenesis section of the diagenesis effect and constructive diagenesis. Then, the paper makes qualitative criterion of the logging reservoir characterization and make fine interpret using conventional logging analysis of reservoir response characteristics. The paper exhibits the distributing character using the reservoir contrast and reservoir parameters contour maps. The integrate prediction is made on the basis study results of the sedimentary, stratum and reservoir character. For the J22~J1 reservoir, the paper establishes the seismic modeling using synthetic seismogram, and analyzes the seismic response characteristics to guide seismic reservoir prediction. The analysis of by using geological, seismic logging and comprehensive deems that the Jialingjiang reservoir is of high heterogeneities, and it is difficult in a single horizontal reservoir for longer distance tracking contrast (between the wells). The reservoir is primarily concentrating on its axis line, of which the reservoir develops best at the structure transition area, and it is gradual thinning to the surrounding area.
