Open Under The Framework Of Gis Development Mode

With the development of open source software, open GIS is also developing rapidly. Many excellent open source projects and software has appeared. Designing a GIS software using open resource will be a trend and how to develop such GIS software will be a new research area. This paper want to explain the way development GIS application use open resource.Firstly this paper introduce the knowledge about development of open source software and open GIS. Furthermore, open GIS resource has be classified as standard layer, database layer, component layer and platform layer. This paper also specify the important resource in every layer.Base "Open Framework" and relate theory, this paper discuss how to development GIS application by use these open resource. Practice has proved that develop GIS application through "Open Framework" is feasible. Such develop mode is not only rapid but also meet various needs.Research and future development trends shows open source software and open GIS will be the mainstream in the feature. Open source mode will let the software company more care about customer demand, software will return the essential as a service.
