With the development of science and technology, especially the development of military space technology working over the light scattering characteristics and radiation characteristics is vital to the research of object detecting, scouting and recognizing, recovery breaking through etc. space technologies. Research of space objects'scattering characteristics includes dispersion radiation intensity variation and spectrum variation. Studying light scattering characteristics of various objects and backgrounds helps to build data-base of light radiation characteristics and to build mathematical models and it precedes experimental study. This thesis includes concepts and laws involved in radiation theory and dispersion theory together with bidirectional reflectance distribution function. And on their relationships presents a mathematical model of calculating solar radiation and radiation from the earth and its atmosphere which links concepts in two different fields together. And more puts forward a method of calculating spatial objects'characteristics. It concludes the calculation of solar zenith and azimuth and elementary theories of atmosphere transmission of light energy and background radiation ,and solar radiation is computed with software Modtran in this chapter . It is discovered that solar radiation lightness can be replaced by academic average from 65°direction when wavelength in 0.4-0.6μm, and can bi replaced by academic average from 70°direction when wavelength in 0.6-0.8μm.In the modeling process, physical model of objects'radiation background is set up firstly; then radiation academic model of objects'light is built; at last it is dispersion academic model. And then the two ones are compared so that it is confirmed that the dispersion academic model is more exact.I compute simple objects'spectrum radiation intensity by MATLAB software and analyze the relationship between visible-light spectrum radiation intensity, angle of incidence and angle of reflection, and then ascertain optimal detecting angle. Furthermore, it is affirm that optic characteristics are related to object's shape, flight figure and the relative position of object, the sun and the earth.
