Along with the economic development and social progress, how to make the effective investigation and management on the land administration which belonged to the Liaohe oil fields branch, to make the best use of land in the status quo, to improve the use efficiency, to protect and use every inch of land effectively, to achieve oil management scientifically, that become an urgent need to address the problem。The development of oil fields cadastral mapping software and the establishment of land management information system could collect data processing, product standard cadastral map, manage the cadastral data scientifically, but also can Statistics, analyze and make decision. Surrounding the above-mentioned goals, this article based on AutoCAD2005 and MapInfo 8.5, With the appropriate development tools for development. Among the main tasks as follows;(1) Successful development of the Liaohe Oilfield cadastral mapping software, that achieve the plotpoints, the standard symbol library, DEM generated automatically, and the calculation for the corresponding functional module.(2) Suitable for the development of the oil region of Land Management information system is imploded , and achieved the corresponding data input and output, query, management, statistics, and other functions.(3) The data of cadastral mapping software and the oil region of Land Management information system come seamlessly connection true. After several months of use, Oilfield Company proved that the system is stable, reliable, simple, and universal. The system has been praised unanimously, that has provided a powerful guarantee for creating "digital oil field".
