Temporal Data Model And Its Application In The Management Of Cadastral Studies

The data in cadastral management is characterized by the complicated spatio-temporal nature,which requires a scientific and efficient spatio-temporal data model to store and manage it. Due to the disadvantages of needing much time in searching for history data,more complex spatio-temporal operation,redundant data and badly processing spatial relationship of spatio-temporal objects of the traditional spatio-temporal models based on state with amendments, it needs to be improved and expanded to meet specific application requirements.Spatio-temporal data model is the basis and the key of temporal GIS.It is very important for a true cadastral information system to design a good spatio-temporal data model which is fit for the Cadastral management.First,improve the traditional spatio-temporal models based on state with amendments:1A history moment data states look on as the beginning history data states.Shorten the time spending in searching for the earlier history data;2Establish the history base state index,increase the speed of spatio-temporal operation;3Store the differences between the two adjacent history base states,in order to reduce the data redundancy which resulted from storing history base state snapshot data;Then introduce the improved spatio-temporal models based on state with amendments to Geodatabase,design the spatio-temporal data concept model,logic model and physics model which are fit for the characteristic of the information in cadastral management,resolve the organizing problem which is not dealed with in spatio-temporal models based on state with amendments.Then design the spatio-temporal database of town cadastral management which is composed of the present database,the delta-file database,the base state database and the relational database.Finally to take full advantage of ArcGIS functions and the simple fast development,adopt the customized methods to develop ArcMap,realize the antitype system of the spatio-temporal database of town cadastral management,the system can reproduce the present state,history state of cadastre,trace the history of a single spatio-temporal object,search for the parcel's filiation.It shortens the time spending in searching for the earlier history data,reduce the data redundancy and increase the speed of spatio-temporal operation by improving and extending the spatio-temporal models based on state with amendments;It resolves the poor spatial relationship between spatio- temporal data by designing the relational database;Develop the antitype system of the spatio-temporal database of town cadastral management,realize reproducing the present state,history state of cadastre,tracing the history of a single spatio-temporal object,searching for the parcel's filiation.The experimentation shows:The improved and extended spatio-temporal model based on state with amendments is applicable,the designed spatio-temporal database is reasonable.
