Differential Pulse Current Circuit Testing Method

Materials molding is being to clean and simplification with the industrialization and development of pulse technology, electromagnetic metal forming technology has been developed. The control for the current in the process of forming is important, because the current is the main factor influencing the result of the forming. Because of the high voltage and the high peak value current, it is difficult to measure the current directory. The measurement of the electric current is one of the most difficult technical in electromagnetic forming technology.In the present work, investigation of the discharge specific properties of RCL circuit in the experiment of electromagnetic forming is conducted. The voltage signal in pulsed power source is dealt with differential circuit method, it finds a new method to measure the large circuit current. Moreover, the magnetization process of iron core under different current was simulated using ansoft code. We also analyze the measured wave profile from the change of the electric inductance. The process is listed as follows:The magnetization process of iron core under different current was simulated using ansoft code. The curve of magnetic induction intensity under different current along the center line of axial direction of the coil is got. A single coil in the presence of the self-inductance of iron core is calculated and the self-inductance of the coil into the coil is analyzed as through changes in current trends.The application of differential pulse current measurement circuit measured by the electromagnetic forming circuit discharge current is analyzed. The measured waveform with the use of mathematics according to the experimental measurement of electrical parameters and the theoretical formula, the theoretical waveforms were compared, the differences among them are carefully analyzed.
