During the developing of the basic well patterns in Sanan development area, the descriptions of reservoir sedimentary environment and fault growth condition are based mainly on the 3-dimensional seismic data combined with the drilling data, the entrapment types, the configuration of cover rock and container rock, the position of faults and the distribution of cracks are XX studied. With the developing of the oilfield in to the anaphase, the well spacing density and drilling data increase continuously, the existed dynamic reflection features differ from the original geologic interpretations, it is necessary to describe the reservoir sedimentary environment and fault growth condition with new drilling data and new methods, in order to instruct the development and step adjustment of the oilfield, and guarantee the continuable exploitation of the oilfield.Through fine geologic researches on the reservoirs in the selected area, the reservoir was subtly compared in vertical, the unit dominating the flow of oil and water was divided to the minimum; the sedimentary microfacies and facies unit were subtly divided in parallel, the single sand-body was subdivide, and the sand-body distribution in parallel and the heterogeneity in reservoir were clarified. Because this research identified the growth and distribution of abandoned channels, so it explained the dynamic features, provided the regulative opinions, and guaranteed the results of the test. The main research route is:the division and comparison of sedimentation unitsā†'the identification of microfacies and planar assemblageā†'the research in planar distribution features of sand-body.Based on drilling data and consulted the seismic data, the description of geologic structures in this paper thoroughly studied the faults with small slip, cracks and micro structures. The research systemically analyzed the distribution of scattered breaking points and the causes of small faults, developed the usage of modeling software in studying the structures, thoroughly combined the 3-demensional vision of breaking points, structure modeling, computer graphic and planar analyze together, summarized a set of methods in small fault throw break point assemblage. The research expedited the re-apprehend of faults to more elaborate extent, effectively directed the residual oil distribution, the dynamic analyze of oil and water wells and the plan of well site design in Sanan development area during the anaphase with more elaborate structure progeny.
