Over the last decade, with the rapid development of computer hardware and software, digital computer technology is widely applied in radar systems.After the weather radar and the computer are interconnected, radar data are processed very quickly, which makes the warning of severe weather, estimation of a large area of quantitative precipitation, as well as physical detection research of cloud and fog, enhancement of artificial rain, test of hail suppression have more advantages. With the covering construction of the new generation weather radar in our country, it had played a more and more important role in monitoring and warning in strong weather condition. The resolution characteristic of radar detection enable us obtain more effective weather information and improve the accuracy of the weather monitoring and forecasting.Basing on the present researches home and abroad, the new generation radar combined the routine meteorological data can improve the scientific and accuracy of the performance and appraisal of manpower enhancement of artificial rain.For this purpose, adopting the design thought of modularization design of computer, making use of probability density to automatically track echo moving and moving speed respectively, recognizing the cloud shape automatically by neural-networks based pattern recognition system. Basing on these technologies, the high automation and scientific weather radar artificial rain enhancement distribution system was realized by the integration of the newly research achievement and second development of radar product and other advanced technologies.This system is based on modular design of computer systems and divides the decision-making mobile operating system of rocket artificial rainfall into six modules: (1) Automatic generation of radar products;(2) Precipitation potential analysis and vehicle scheduling;(3) Automatic Identification of Cloud Shape;(4) Output of Operating conditions and parameters;(5) Automatic Identification on Continue Operation;(6) Judgment on the end of the process.At last, these modules are acted as the system framework. The much higher automation degree and scientific distribution system of artificial rain enhancement operation are realized by the integration of newly research achievements on influences to weather by human matters, overlap of the radar image and geological information image, second development of radar products and other comprehensive technology.
