University Laboratory Equipment Management Decision Support System Design

With the development of computer technology and network technology, modern society is becoming an information-based era. In recent years, management information systems from all walks of life have been developed much more. With the growing maturity of the management systems, further management methods'improvements and supporting systems of information, as a higher level of management information systems - Decision Support System development and research will be increasingly put on the agenda. Colleges and universities'experimental equipment, as the material basis of schools, is an important part of the school's fixed assets. With the rapid development of science and technology, the deepening of the reform of education management system, the growing teaching scale, the experimental equipment of colleges and universities have undergone great changes in terms of quantity, structure and use, making management more complex, more and more important. However, in many colleges and universities from the specific situation of the current laboratory equipment management, there are still some urgent problems, such serious problems as being left unused, replacement and waste of experimental equipment. Such as equipment attribution unclear, non-standard trasfering between operating assets and non-operating assetsred, the low elimination rate of aging, damaged equipment, not timely maintenance of trouble equipments, accounts, goods, and cards being not match, and so on, which have a direct impact on the quality of teaching and school effectiveness.This thesis first analyses management decision-making methods, the structure and principle of Decision Support System. through the discussion of problems and challenges faced by laboratory equipment management decision-making in colleges and universities.The thesis makes the demand of support management decision-making systems in colleges and universities, researches the elements and information-based approach in laboratory equipment management decision-making of colleges and universities, uses data warehousing, data mining technology laboratory equipment to obtain data models, methods models and knowledge models of the college laboratory equipment management decision-making, analyses processing procedures and the main function of laboratory equipment management decision support system in colleges and universities, and designs and realizes laboratory equipment management decision support system in colleges and universities. Finally the thesis concludes the features of laboratory equipment decision support systems in colleges and universities and analyses system deficiencies and the required improvements.
