Low temperature, fewer oxygen and the low atmospheric pressure, these factors will not favor the microorganism growth in plateau area.Regarding uses of activated sludge system to deal with domestic wastewater in plateau area, no matter what the treatment process, it's necessary to master the microorganism growth characteristic of plateau area before normal operation.Through cultivation of activated sludge and pre-operation, optimizing the treatment system operation and control method to determine in line with the actual water quality and quantity of process control parameters to improve the stability of the system and the treatment effect, will help guide the future operation of the sewage treatment system. For the sewage treatment plant located at plateau area, active sludge's success culture and technological parameter's determination will play the crucial role in the future in sewage treatment plant of the normal effective movement.This topic uses the KMTS craft, research on the pre-operation and the cultivation of activated sludge in the actual project practice, which applies this craft to deal with urban waste water. The KMTS craft is unifies the Kunming Shipbuilding Equipment Co Ltd urban waste water disposal plant's actual situation to carry on the improvement of the new craft to A2/O, the full name is Kunming treatment system. Uses the intermittent type to cultivate the fungus directly, this method has successfully cultivated activated sludge which suit to the plateau survival requirement. Through the research of pre-operation process and activated sludge's culture process, combined with the mass data which testing the experiment obtains for analysis, draws the following conclusion:Uses the intermittent type to cultivate the fungus directly, the activated sludge has some characteristics, such as a strong impact resistance capacity, higher stability and higher processing efficiency. In the activated sludge the biofacies are very rich. The fungus rubber group's diameter achieves 1844μm, the vitality is exuberant, has the adsorption and the oxidizing ability and reproductive property. In cultivate stage, the activated sludge manifests to COD and BOD5 high elimination ability. Through the analysis carries on temperature, DO, MLSS, SV, SVI and curves of various water qualities index change along with the time, discovered that the temperature and the dissolved oxygen are the main factors affect the cultivation of activated sludge in plateau area.Through the pre-operation process to determine appropriate control parameters and control methods of KMTS craft. This processing system sludge resident time is short, is about 4.5h. Intermixture control of reflux ratio about 50%, backflow to hypoxia pool area; Sludge total control of reflux ratio about 80%,50% backflow to anaerobic area, other 30% backflow to good oxygen pond. The sludge infiltration fluid backflow to the regulating reservoir anaerobic area to reduce the organic loading, is advantageous in the denitrogenation fungus growth. Sludge density about 3500mg/L.Causes in the sewage through the pre-operation various pollutant removal rate to elevate generally, solved the problem that the concentrations of NH3-N, TN and TP in outlet were high, which appears in the sludge cultivation process. The average concentrations of COD, BOD5, SS, TN and TP in effluent respectively is 27.16mg/L,11.4 mg/L,3.75 mg/L, 16.5 mg/L and 0.13 mg/L; the removal rate respectively achieves 93.73%,93.31%,93.12%, 79.64% and 97.36%. Compare with two domestic wastewater treatment plants which Use the similar processing craft in the same area, discovered that the removal effect of various pollutants surpasses the similar factory as a whole. From the treatment point, not only the KMTS craft is generally high to various pollutant's removal rate, moreover, the average removal rate of TN achieves 79.64%, is much higher than the two similar plants'62% and 48%. The concentration of TP is even lower than 0.11 mg/L, the removal rate reaches as high as 97.91%. From this description KMTS in nitrogen and phosphorus removal has a greater advantage.This thesis also carries on the normal phenomenon and the unusual problem appears to the active sludge cultivation and the pre-operation process in-depth analysis, and performed the effective addressing for the problems appeared to the pre-operation process.
