As a kind of novel materials, porous metal was just found and developed in this decade. It has both structural and functional performance, which is rare in ordinary metals. The development tendency of porous metal is inevitable. Nanoporous metal is the porous metal material with the aperture of nano-level. Compared to traditional porous metal, nanoporous metal not only has the properties of nanometal materials'but also it is with bi-continuity structure, highly surface area, good electrical conductivity and etc. These features make the nanoporous metal material a unique physical, chemical and mechanical properties. Inertial confinement fusion (ICF) is a controlled micro-nuclear fusion. When using high surface area nanoporous gold as a black metal target, the conversion efficiency of laser into X-ray can be improved, therefore high surface area nanoporous gold has great application potential in the ICF for X-ray-driven inertial-fusion implosions. The preparation methods and principles about the nanoporous gold film materials have been introduced and the research status and application of porous gold have been summarized in this paper. The method of using the cylindrical anodized aluminum (AAO) as templates to prepare porous gold with pulse plating and the method of using hydrogen bubbles as template to prepare porous copper and porous gold under high current density are summarized, respectively. electeoless plating was introduced too. Test methods such as X-ray diffusion (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), stereo microscope were used to characterize the structure and performance of the samples.Experiments of this paper are divided into four chapters, the fist of which is about the preparation of the AAO. Through orthogonal test with concentration 5% oxalic acid as the electrolyte, optimized experimental parameters and anodic alumina with highly ordered and uniform pore size distribution were obtained under different temperatures, voltages, time, and polishing mode . In the second chapter, anodic alumina is used as template, Pulse Plating and DC plating were used to plate gold layer. Then removed the AAO template by etching it in nitric acid of concentration 5%, so that nanoporous gold can be obtained.Test results of the experiments show that the quality of AAO is better by using Pulse Plating. In the third chapter, the method of using dynamic hydrogen bubbles as template to prepare porous gold is introduced. Compared it with the AAO prepared in the second chapter, the test result shows that the AAO template is better. In the last part, did research on electroless plating gold and made comparation between electroplating and electroless plating. Density of porous gold be made by elaetroplating is lower. It is more suitable to prepare porous gold.
