Forging is a very important formation method of significant structural item. Heading, drawing-out, rolling extrusion, dummying are the mainly deformation processes. Multi-directional forging adopted, organization transformation of heading process is chosen as mainly object to study. The metal flowing and organization transformation are studied in the drawing-out process. As a mean, dummying is applied in the filling and metal redistribution. In this paper, as-cast ZK60 and AZ80 magnesium alloy set as the research objects, multi-directional forging adopted, magnesium alloy ingot deformation characteristics is studied. That provides experimental data and theoretical basis for the forging of magnesium alloy. Obtain the results as following:(1) By systematically studying the as-cast ZK60 and AZ80 magnesium alloy multi-forging process, experimental results show that:for the as-cast ZK60 magnesium alloy, one time fire sub-forging adopted, the grain refinement effect of the organization was not obvious; for the as-cast AZ80 magnesium alloy forging, with the forging ratio increasing, the organization effect of grain refinement is obvious, the plastic of materials was markedly improved。(2) By systematically studying the as-cast AZ80 magnesium alloy forging stretching process, forged organizations and mechanical properties of forging, experimental results show that:using three times fire forge, the grain refinement and mechanical properties were greatly improved。(3) By systematically studying the as-cast ZK60 magnesium alloy forging stretching process and organizational property, the experimental results show that:when the times is 6 and forge ratio is 1.86, uniform grain size is small and the alloy has good mechanical properties。(4) Studying the post-forging processing of ZK60 magnesium alloy deformation under law temperature working conditions, experimental results show that:ZK60 magnesium alloy is a kind of material with temperature and strain rate sensitive, flow stress significant increase with strain rate increases and the temperature dropped. When flow stress reaches its peak, the flow stress tends to a stable state. Through analysing tissue after hot deformation, it was fund that magnesium alloy softening mechanism is dynamic recrystallization. The organization was mostly dynamic recrystallization stripy crystal. At the temperature of 250-300℃and rate of Is-1, small grains become more uniform, at this point materials show good mechanical properties and deformation characteristics。(5) Fibrous tissue is produced in thermal compression process of AZ80 magnesium alloy, and shows anisotropy。At the temperature of 250-300℃and rate of 1s-1, basal plane texture intensity and anisotropiy are weaker, that is favorable for compression molding。...
