In the future world, energy-saving and emission reduction has become the most important work in the country's development. In the manufacturing process of motor, a small amount of increasing of electrical efficiency not only can save energy but also can realize significant economic benefits. Development and application of high efficiency motors is currently a hot topic in the world. In the 21st century, semi-solid processing technology is considered one of the best shape technology in the future. And contrasting to thixo-forming, semi-solid rheological method has advantages of a short process forming and low-power. Preparation of slurry is the key. Forming by semi-solid rheological methods without reducing the strength of molded parts of copper alloy and conductivity, we can reduce the molding temperature of copper alloy in order to reduce high temperature impact on the forming mold, extend the life of mold and help reducing production costs. It will be promoted to producing electric components by using of copper alloy. Also it has a significant impact on improving efficiency of the motor.By using LSPSF machine to test (Low Superheat Pouring with a Shear Field), study about process parameters on the copper alloy semi-solid slurry organizations were investigated. The results showed that by experiments:pouring temperature, spin speed and inclinations angle affects grain size and morphology of semi-solid slurry. As long as pouring temperature, spin speed and inclinations angle can be a good match, so that outlet temperature of alloy can get between liquid and solid temperature, we can get good semi-solid slurry. By comparing to different process parameters, through the slurry of micro-measuring software measure morphology and size, initially part of the process parameters range can be obtain. The high quality semi-solid slurry of copper alloy can be provided for forming.
