This paper describes the development of intelligent inverter welding power source status at home and abroad, and proposes the research in purpose and meaning of intelligent given inverter arc welding power.The subject of the main welding circuit design approach, which surely enhances the system efficiency, reduces the network interference and eliminates circuit aspects of internal and external interference. This approach combines theoretical calculation with Multisim simulation software. Through this design mode can select the best parameter circuit model and components. The intelligent of the welding source mainly manifests the multifunction realizing of welding methods through the control circuit. The core of the welding power control system isTMS320F2812 DSP control chip.DSP can output Four-phase adjustable PWM, frequency trigger waveform. This pulse wave through EXB841 driver chip is enlarged to turn on and off IGBT. Hall devices samples welding current and voltage. After the feedback signal is converted and filtered, is put into the DSP module port. This signal by filtering algorithm can get the exact welding feedback parameters. Control system automatically revises welding parameters and adjusts the duty cycle of PWM waveform to achieve welding feature requests which output constant voltage and current.Before starting the weld, joining intelligence given software input mode will simplify the input of welding parameters, friendly interface, embed powerful system library optimized for a given. All these would enrich welder given interface and provide reference models for a large number of welding parameters for the operators. The subject of software designing can be fully considered functional expansibility, realizing the function of software upgrades. By testing debugging, intelligent given arc welding inverter power function basically meet the design requirements.
