Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a new method in environmental impact assessment and the environmental management tool for enterprises to implement green production. It promote the environment coordination of appropriate products or processes through making the full life cycle environmental impact analysis for the production system, or evaluating the environmental load for the different production processes. It related to the product eco-design, green label for products, production process innovation, and environmental factors involved in the corresponding government level environmental management policy development, etc, would help enterprises choose the optimum environment in product development and technological innovation, provided theoretical support for environmental policy, and support services for environmental management from a whole perspective.Based on the actual situation of production of tungsten, and the principles of life cycle assessment and technical framework, this paper used the strategy which combined survey and model analysis, brought the industrial production of tungsten mining and smelting into life cycle assessment system, and then made evaluation and analysis for environmental load and resource consumption. It used the production of APT as the research object, and selected the APT production to make up its life cycle evaluation process. The specific scope of the study in accordance with the mining, mineral processing, smelting, and then made the evaluation and analysis of the three phases. Through the analysis of evaluation on EDIP model, drawing on its evaluation on the basis of the principle established for the evaluation of this system, in accordance with the "three steps" of the evaluation steps to APT production input and output characteristics of the data in turn, standardization and weighted processing, and ultimately come to the study of environmental load index and resource depletion index. APT production through all stages of the quantification and evaluation of the potential environmental impact, we draw the following conclusions:(1) Environmental load index mainly showed in the acidification and eutrophication from the view of the type of environment impact. In which, acidification contributed 57.29% of total while eutrophication contributed 25.69%.(2) From the analysis of the three stages of life cycle, the proportion of environmental loading in the smelting stage reached 75.58%, and it was the highest proportion, while mineral phase was 24.15%.(3) In this study, the largest consumption of energy was electricity, which contributed 95.44% of the total consumption.Overall, the focus of governance for corporate was corresponding environmental emissions in acidification and smelting stage. Reducing environmental disturbance in the phase of the emissions of substances is the key to achieve the optimal environmental impact. Therefore, in order to reduce APT production of environmental load and resource consumption, we need to optimize the production process continually, strengthen the waste resource management, improve resource and energy efficiency, and reduce the corresponding environmental emissions in the whole process of the closed loop, and then achieve the purpose that saving energy and reducing consumption.
