Oil-film bearing for supporting bearing of the Rolling Mill has received great support, which works with oil film generated by the inner surface of the babbitt metal and the outer surface of the roller. Magnetic fluid with the property of magnetism and liquidity can change the magnetic field and direction to change the fluid viscosity. This thesis uses magnetic fluid to control the lubricant viscosity intelligently and is applicable to different roll forces. What's more, it would improve the lubricating environment, extend the operational life span and its seal ability of the oil-film bearing.Based on the magnetic fluid lubrication theory and oil-film bearing lubrication theory, this thesis aims to study dynamical lubrication theory of oil film bearing lubricated by magnetic fluid, analyze magnetic fluid equation group under magnetic fluid dynamical lubrication, and MHD equations in different coordinate systems are expounded. Moreover, it has formed into analysis system of oil film of magnetic-fluid-lubricated oil-film bearing by means of VB.NET and has analyzed the oil-film properties of oil-film bearing lubricated by magnetic fluid by ANSYS, which begins a train of thought for further development on theoretical arithmetic and analog simulation. The main subjects of this research are as follows:Firstly, based on three equations set about electromagnetism and hydromechanics, together with constitutive equations, this thesis has represented the magnetic fluid equation group of magnetic fluid dynamical lubrication, Integral and differential coefficient equation group of magnetic fluid, as well as the MHD equations in different coordinate systems. Magnetic-fluid equation group links flow field and magnetic field, that is, fluid field influences magnetic field by velocity field, and magnetic field influence fluid field by magnetic induction. Furthermore, boundary conditions and the initial conditions of the MHD equations, as well as how to nondimensionalize the MHD equations, has been represented in this thesis, which would facilitate the equation solution.Secondly, this paper uses VB.NET, ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS CFX in a perfect way. APDL and CEL were used to write analysis program, numerical simulation of oil film of oil-film bearing lubricated by magnetic fluid has been achieved and analysis system of oil film under magnetic fluid lubrication of oil film bearing has been formed.Analysis time of oil-film bearing for numerical simulation was reduced, human resource was saved and design cost could also be reduced by this analysis system, the scientific design method and design parameters have been given for design on oil-film bearing. Finite volume method based on finite element method has been used to simulate magnetic fluid lubrication oil film. Different lubricating environments and working conditions, the oil-film temperature field distribution, oil-film pressure field distribution and other oil-film characteristics was solved.Finally, oil-film bearing lubricated by magnetic fluid was tested by using test platform and rheometer. Based on oil-film numerical result, the test result and numerical result are basically consistent, which shows that oil film lubricated by magnetic fluid can improve the capacity of oil-film bearing, reduce the friction and the accretion of temperature. Through test it is also proved that the right magnetic field can influence the viscosity of magnetic fluid, and the viscosity of fluid is positive proportional to the magnetic intensity.
