Our country's steel output has ranked first in the world for many years, steel output and quality relying on the advanced metallurgical equipment. Caster and continuous rolling equipment is the key equipment of metallurgical equipment, widely use in home and abroad. Caster plays a important part in the production process of billet. Continuous caster roller is the major component of caster. The state of the casting roller plays a key role in the caster continuous stable working. Continuous caster rollers are surfaced a layer of stainless steel materials before they are put into use in the production line, in order to ensure Continuous caster rollers have the ability to resist corrosion, oxidation and thermal fatigue damage. Continuous caster rollers need repaired after a period of time due to the role of corrosion, oxidation and thermal fatigue. In repairing still need to surface a layer of stainless steel. Due to the reasons of surfacing has a characters of low efficiency, environment pollution, instability etc, many enterprises are studying to adopt a better way to manufacture and repair casting roller in domestic.The topic relay on oneself Taiyuan city bureau of students' innovative and undertaking special. Make a detail study on cold spinning strengthen stainless steel/steel bimetal casting roller. Make a analysis of thermal stress of bimetal composite structure of casting roller, it introduces the process of hot charging and materials of roller sleeve. Using MSC.Marc software to make a thermo- mechanical coupled of cold spinning sleeve, make a study of material organization, mechanical properties, wear-resisting performance, thermal fatigue and hardness of cold spinning sleeve, using hot charging make three bimetal composite specimens. Make a check of bimetal composite bond strength through the theoretical solution and MSC.Marc finite element software.
