A Fine Grade Hematite Magnetic Centrifuge Technology Test

The Shilu Beishan poor iron ore in Hainan province is belong to fine-grain disseminated Anshan style hematite, the dissminated size of the avaliable iron ore is almost between20-37μmDepend on the result of grinding fineness and HGMS(short for high gradient magnetic separator) test of the iron ore,the feed size to HGMS is-200mesh(0.074mm) more than90%,and the tailing of CS(short for Centrifugual Separator) first cleaning needs to be grinded and processed again, the tailing has to be grinded -325mesh(0.045mm)more than 80%,and we found that most of the product of the grinding is growing income disparity as coarse and fine.The report just depends on the project of flowsheet improvement of the private company Shilu Guangda mining,and take a laboratory technolgy exploration test of co-processing of High-Gradient and Centrifugul to Shilu Beishan poor iron ore. As the reprot of the lab test,after the grinding size is avaliable,with the roughing with HGMS,the concentrate to CS for cleaning we can get the grade of the concentrate 62.98%,total recovery75.65% with the grade of the feed 40.37% , And we also get that,SLon CS is so effectively to process fine-grain red iron ore,for the recovery is more than 75.53% to +0.01mm size and also 45.53% to -0.01mm.As we know ,from the analysis of the processing mechanism of Magnetic Separator:The magnetic force of the grain article not only with its specific susceptiblity,but also with the magnetic field intensity and field gradient around it. The matrix in the processing room of SLon-100 Cyclic High Gradient Magnetic Separator raises the magnetic field gradient around the matrix.The pulsating water just keep the slurry losen,to keep magnetic article away from being mixed with non-magnetic one,so it can raise the grade of the concentrate so much. As we know ,from the analysis of the processing mechanism of Centrifugul Separator,the slurry is processed in different layer with specific gravity in the centrifugal force field.The centrifugal force just enlarge the falling speed of the article,and make the weight fine-grain get enough falling speed for being processed.The maxism of the centrifugal force is 110G..
