Process control is very important for nonferrous metallurgy. Rapid and accurate analysis of elements is the preconditions for process control. As a promising hydrometallurgical process, zinc extraction in NH3-NH4Cl system is still in the laboratory. The corresponding analytical method for common elements has not been established. In this dissertation, rapid analysis methods of Pb, Fe and Zn in NH3-NH4Cl solutions were studied. It is significant in the industrial application of zinc hydrometallurgy in NH3-NH4Cl system.The meaningful results were obtained as follow:1. Determination of lead in HCl-NH4Cl buffer solution by polarographic method was carried out. And then under optimmum conditions, it was successfully applied to analyse lead in leaching solution and purified solution from zinc hydrometallurgical process in NH3-NH4Cl system.2. Spectrophotometric determination of iron was conducted, and corresponding conditions was obtained. Finally, it was aplied to detect iron content in pregnant solutions from zinc hydrometallurgical process in NH3-NH4Cl system.3. Adopting primary-secondary wavelengthes computation spectrophotometry, determination of trace iron in purified solution from zinc hydrometallurgical process in NH3-NH4Cl system was carried out.4. Optimal conditions for titration determination of zinc were obtained, and then it was used to analyse zinc in object solutions from zinc hydrometallurgical process. Element balance of zinc is satisfactory.
