MES is the production line computer management system and the bridge between the resource planning and control systems. And it's critical systems for enterprises'improving product quality and production efficiency and the middle of the bridge and core function of enterprise information. As the middle layer of a manufacturing enterprise information in the ERP and PCS, MES is construction componention of the entire enterprise information integration system which can be the bridge of communication, production and management information on the activities. This thesis tells the construction of enterprise information in a steel case, the new steel plant projects for the enterprise design and implementation, and constructs the steel-making MES. It starts from the steel production process, and MES systems for steel main modules, then it interfaces a detailed analysis and design and steelmaking and continuous casting process for the characteristics of closely co-ordinated the establishment of the MES system of furnace steel-making and even cast model. Focused on solving the steel tapping MES system planning and scheduling problems, the thesis is to achieve steelmaking, continuous casting project integration management and study the system implementation and application of MES deeply.Steel MES system is aimed to maximize productivity and to minimize costs,to optimize the quality of the pursuit of goals. The strong point of the system is to produce for order and meet customer demand for the market to achieve a consistent flow of information and logistics information systems and comprehensive integrated steel project to strengthen the relevant system data seamlessly.Otherwise, the system optimizes the management processes and improves efficiency and production management level.
