Coal-washing technology is an important link of the coal production, and jigging-machine is the most typical one in many kinds of coal-washing ways. With the characteristics of simple technology process and large processing ability, the jigging-machine is widely used in jigging process area. Currently, about 20 to 70 percent of raw coal is cleaned by the jigging separation technology in our country and abroad.Jigging separation is a multi-factors, multi-parameters, complex process, which has many coupling factors. The study on detection and processing of parameters directly impacts on coal-washing quality. To establish perfect and mature separation theories is still the scientific topic which the coal-separation area has been pursuing. The subject aims at the study of key technology of signal processing for jigging-machine, processes jigging-bed thickness signal by jigging-bed and loose process. And the paper also puts forward a way of synthetic detection of jigging loose of each level, which the implement of the best automatically match of the proportion of coal to water and the automatic regulation of jigging frequency and air-output of air valve is based on. Accordingly, controlling accuracy and efficiency is improved at last.The research and discussion of coal-washing process centers around jigging-bed. To make sure the whole system is successful, the layering status and of jigging-bed need to be studied first, jigging-bed thickness information in which it refers to, becomes the core research part. On the basis of analyzing coal-washing technology and separation theory, the article mainly studied jigging-bed thickness signal and jigging process, which the design of the controlling system of air-valve parameters and discharging controlling system are made use of.In the air-valve controlling and discharging controlling system, which don't need to establish mathematic model, it adopts the controller of air-valve parameters based on loose detection and discharging controller instead of the former PID controller in the controlling field. In coal-feeding system and down flow weir controlling system, the design established mathematic model. Especially, in the regulation wind and water institution of jigging, the design adopted new idea that high and low air receivers related to jigging chamber apart. On the of setting of jigging-bed expectation, the paper puts forward a new way based on the BP neural network, which is a new try compared to the former way by experience. In the ultimate controlling goal, the automatic controlling system of ash detecting was carried out. The whole system was applied to the coal-washing scene, which improved separation quality of raw coal, ensured enterprise profits and saved manpower and resources.
