This article summoned the new research and application of phosphorus and nitrogen removal process. According to the examples of Adsorption Biodegradation (AB) upgrading broad and abroad, the lab sacle experiment of upgrading current process in Qiqihaer wastewater treatment plant was taken and analyisied. This research take Reversed A2/O process combine with bio-media as the first Experimental program:turn the Adsorption part into Anoxic Oxic (A/O) reactor, cancel the sludge back flow of Adsorption part, make the sludge of Biodegradation part flow back to the anoxic reactor, decrease the sludge back flow rate and the Aeration of oxic reactor. In addition, the suspended media was put into the oxic reactor(adding ratio is 30%) where Nitrification and Denitrification can take place simultaneously. In this experiment the dissolved oxygen of oxic reactor stabled at 1~1.5mg/L, back flow rate of sludge was 150%, sludge retention time was10d. As the result the removal rate of COD and ammonia nitrogen were all above 80%, the total phosphorus and total nitrogen can all achieve discharge standard. The second experimental program:Rebuild AB process into anaeronic-oxic process (A/O), Add FeSO4 into aeration tank to remove the phosphorus. In this experiment the removal rate of COD, ammonia nitrogen can be 83% and 84%; removal rate of total nitrogen, total phosphrous can achieve 71% and 90%, Total nitrogen, total phosphrous in the treated water can be stabilized below 20mg/L and1.5mg/L. in addition, the structure of this rebuild process are simple, leave enough space for the further upgrading. This research focused on the upgrade of the AB process in wastewater treatment plant, offering the guidance for the further pilot-sacle and full-sacle experiment, Could be meaningful for the upgrading of AB process in the operating water plant.
