Nano coatings can show excellent property of corrosion resistance because of adding of corrosion resistance nano particles, adding nano-coating materials to paints have formed one of the developing subject to contemporary paint to enhance the coatings'properties. Difficulties of preparation of nano particles and dispersion of nano particles into coatings district it developing.Modified polymer-titanium nano-flake were prepared by highly energy ball milling. The processing parameters were determined and the react mechanism was discussed. Various factors of modified polymer-titanium nano-flake were studied, and the results of experiment were obtained by combining single-factor and orthogonal factors on the base of analysis settlement experiments. The results showed that the ratio of xylene, acetone, butanol was 2:2:1. The polymer was composed by epoxy resin and coating agent, and their volume were 8g and 8g. Milling time was 3h, milling revolutions was 380 rĀ·min-1, ball ratio was 3:1 respectively.The characterization of Modified polymer-titanium nano-flake showed that titanium was covered with polymer coating, and diameter of polymer-scale titanium film was less than 50nm, film thickness was less than 10nm, and with the nano level in dimensional structure and more evenly dispersed samples, the coating agent and the polymer were combined with physical adsorption, polymer and titanium were combined with chemical adsorption.Composite corrosion resistance coatings were made by dispersing modified polymers by nano-Ti into coatings. The E-20 were used as film-forming substance with other coalescent. The properties of the films were characterized by common films physical and chemical determination. The mechanism of corrosion resistance was discussed in this paper.The result showed that the film's physical properties and corrosion resistance were the best when the modified polymer-titanium nano-flake whose content was 8% in coating. Modified polymer-titanium nano-flake dispersed in the pores within the coating matrix improving the impact resistance of the coating, the property of corrosion resistance; it could fill the micro holes of the films effectively, preventing corrosion solutions which contact base metal.
