Research On The Virtual Technology Of Reconstructive Nc Equipments Based On Network

In order to satisfy the dynamical and complex market demand on mechanical manufacture industry, many advanced production mode and concept were proposed. Reconstruction design of numerical-control(NC) equipment is the basic and key component of achieving the advanced manufacturing process. In this paper, based on the VC++ environment, reconstruction of virtual numerical-control equipment was performed and the measurement of the model and the network assistance environment were established.Five-axis NC equipments was taken as an example, based on their structures and motion relations among the main components, several functional modules were divided and created, and then model database of components and the management system were built. Depending on analysis above, the virtual model of NC equipments was established and the virtual equipment reconstruction was accomplished by means of replacing components and altering the relationship among the axes.From the angle of computer graphics, triangular faces grid of 3D virtual model was investigated and the principle of model and projection alternation was analyzed. In the assistance with OpenGL figure library functions and MFC frame, the transformation from 2D coordination to 3D coordination was achieved, and the choice and information extraction of the faces in the virtual model was accomplished. Mathematical tools were employed to measure the dimension and relative position in the chosen faces.In order to fulfill its fast information exchanges and technical communication, the network environment was built to assist the reconstruction of virtual NC equipments. Based upon Windows Sockets technology and TCP/IP contract, multithread, multicast, asynchronous selection mechanism and so on were utilized to build the platform of network communication and the application depending on server/client model. And the application has assisted functions of dialogue communication, file transfer, remote assistance, broadcast demonstration and sharing resources.In this paper, the primary exploration and the fundamental study about virtual reconstruction technology in NC equipments were carried out and an instance about virtual reconstruction system of network NC equipments was established.
