Polyoxometalates (POMs) as an environmental-friendly catalyst have been paid more and more attention, because of their significant advantages such as multi-functionality, low toxicity, low corrosion and high activity while low temperature. There also has been much interest in understanding and developing the fabrication of self-assembled ultra-thin multilayers films, because the composition, thickness and molecular orientation within each layer can be manipulated at the molecular level. In addition, the film has specific and stable configuration and sort of special function. They are widely used in field of catalyze, environment, material and biology. In this dissertation, a serial of Polyoxometalates compound with boron, wolfram, vitriol and lanthanon have been synthsised for the first time. The compound were characterized by IR, UV-visible, SEM, X-ray diffraction. Then using a bipolar hemicyanine as the cation, two heteropoly coordination compound-based self-assembled multiplayer films were fabricated with the POMs for the first time. Electrolytic properties of these POMs and films were studied.
