The gypsum is one traditional air hardening inorganic gelled material, in many domains such as decoration, wall as well as heat preservation, fire protection, sound absorption and so on obtained the widespread application. But its tensile strength and the anti-impact properties are low, brittle and poor water resistance have limited its using scope. In order to improve the performance of gypsum, people successfully studied the gypsum compound materials with the enhancement and the packing method, expanded its applications.Because the fiber has greater tensile strength and fracture toughness, when the compound materials sufer stress, fiber may absorb energy in the gypsum compound materials, inhibites the micro fracture of gypsum substrate propagation, enhances its intensity. Glass fiber's chemical stability is good, the price is low and the source is widespread. The chemical stability of glass fiber with different ingredient is good in water, the acid and the weak base; The mechanical strength is high, the elastic modulus is big, the electric insulation is good; The water absorbability is small, has good heat preservation heat-insulated performance, the sound absorption performance is fine. Therefore the glass fiber reinforced gypsum compound materials have the better promoted application prospect.The studied content including (1) the effect of differently mixing craft on dispersivity of glass fiber in the gypsum based compound, studies the corresponding compound materials performance; (2) adopts the different modified methods to carry on the surface of glass fiber, studies the corresponding compound materials performance, and discusses the contact surface union mechanism; (3) based on obtaining good mixing craft and modified method, researches the influence of adding quantity of glass fiber to the physical mechanics performance of compound materials; (4) studies the effect of different additive to the performance of gypsum compound materials; (5) research on microscopic structure of glass fiber gypsum compound materials, discusses the enhancement mechanism.The experimental study indicated that the effect of dry and wet process is ideal, the best value of glass fiber's technological parameter is: the fiber length is 15mm, the quantity is 1.5%. the flexural strength increased 36.8%, compressive strength decreased 8.53%.The contact surface reliable union attributes an important aspect to the compound materials performance, therefore needing to carry on the surface treatment to the glass fiber, optimized the interface bonding degree between enhancement body and substrate. Glass fiber after heat treatment, acid treatment as well as silane coupling agent processing, improved the glass fiber surface roughness, enhanced the glass fiber and the gypsum substrate contact surface cohesional strength, this is very benifical to enhance the performance of compound materials. After surface treatment of the fiber, mechanical properties and water resistance of composite were improved.The actual value of gypsum mixing water demand is much higher than the theoretical value, excessive moisture by adding have a direct impact on the mechanical properties of composite, we add the water-reducing agent to solve this problem.the reducing water effect of naphthalene superplasticizer and polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer is quite obvious, and causes large scale enhancement of the mechanical properties of the compound materials. But the water-reducing mechanism between them is different.The gypsum rapid hardening in water is also a headache question for people, adding retarder can meet the different construction requirements. research retardation effects of citric acid and bone glue to the compound materials, both of them varying degree causes compound materials intensity reduction. The action mechanism of them also has the difference.Discuss glass fiber's enhancement mechanism, the glass fiber can effectively prevent or impede the development of cracks, to alleviate the phenomenon of crack tip stress concentration, reduces the crack source quantity, enhances the performance of compound materials; The modified glass fiber and the gypsum substrate have the good contact surface union, is advantageous to the material mechanical properties; When the mixing quantity of glass fiber mixing is oversized or the length is excessively long, will produce the pine resin group phenomenon, has the flaw in the gypsum substrate interior, enables the glass fiber to play its enhancement role fully.Mixes glass fiber in the gypsum compound materials, can improve the flexural, compression, and other mechanical properties of the compound materials. The textile fiber surface treatment and mixing craft as well as admixture spiking, can obviously affect the performance of compound materials.
