It is widely used that materials as gypsum gel, gypsum building products aremade by gypsum which is one of the three gel materials in the areas of industry,building, medicine. In the aspect of mechanical properties, gypsum has a highercompressive strength. But it has a lower flexural strength and tensile strength. Thesedisadvantages limit the applications of gypsum materials. To improve these flaws,researchers usually enhance the mechanical properties of the fibers mixed withgypsum.Carbon fiber has excellent mechanical properties, fatigue resistance, andcorrosion resistance, and it has great chemical and physical properties which is reflecton the conductivity between the mental and non-mental, the lower thermal expansioncoefficient and the lower density of the fibers. So it serves as the reinforcement inmany composite materials to change the material properties. It is widely used thatcarbon fiber reinforce the composite materials in the areas of the aerospace,transportation, electronics, civil engineering, etc.In this experiment, carbon fiber is mixed with gypsum plaster as thereinforcement to produce carbon fiber composite materials. Firstly, Modify carbonfiber by anodic oxidation method. And the, Mix the different contents of carbon fiberto explore the optimal length of the mixing amount and processes. Finally, Add waterreducer, retarder and waterproofing agent admixtures to investigate the impact of thegypsum composite materials of carbon fiber.Use XPS and SEM to analyze the surface morphology and functional groups onthe carbon fiber; Use a single instrument to analyze the monofilament strength ofcarbon fiber; Use compressive and flexural tests to analyze the mechanical propertiesof the gypsum composite materials of carbon fiber; Use standard consistency meterand Vicat to test gypsum-based performance.The main results are as follows:(1)After anodizing the carbon fiber, the roughness of its surface, the increase of the oxygen-containing functional groups and changes of its hydrophilic are clear.By discussing three different mixing processes, Mix gypsum and carbon fiber withoutwater and then with water that is the best way to improve the performance of thecomposite materials.(2)According to the flexural test results of gypsum composite materials ofcarbon fiber, the best carbon fiber and gypsum content is1.5%and the optimal lengthis15mm.(3)It can be concluded by testing admixture made composite materials whichare added in the carbon fiber and gypsum with different mixing amount that: For theanalysis of three water reducer from epidemic and mechanical properties of gypsummaterials, the best mixing amount is less than0.5%.For the analysis of connecting three retarders from gypsum composite materialsof carbon fiber, the best mixture is bone glue and the best mixing amount is less than0.5%. For the analysis of the waterproofing agent from gypsum materials, paraffin hasa better waterproof effect than polyvinyl alcohol. Furthermore, polyvinyl alcohol haveimprovement towards compressive and flexural properties of gypsum compositematerials of carbon fiber and it will come to maximum when the mixing amount is4%. So, choose a waterproofing agent which is content with4%polyvinyl alcoholsolution.
