The technology of thin slab in continuous cast and continuous rolling is highefficiency, lower costs and lesser pollute, but its hot coil strip as the material for coldroling strip is not suitabled very much. Because the crystal grain deform is’t complete, restore time being less, its crystal grain size of strip is still fine and smaller, andmechanical properties are higher. The thicknesses of raw material for hot rolling low carbon steel which is used toproduce the cold rolling thin strip is different. The metallographic composition for coldrolling raw material was very different in organization properties. Because the strength ofproducts from thin slab being high, some properties of it are not suitable for cold rolling. In recent years, it is discovered that alternating magnetic field can excite the atomactivation energy, affect high temperature grain and phase transformation, assist the grainto grow, and promote the grain to go round and uniform. For changing the grain textureon line, with alternating magnetic field acting on austenite grain of low carbon steel. After the alternating magnetic field for hot rolled bar, the mechanical property will betraced by pull test machine, then analyze the mechanical properties after the action of thealternating magnetic field. Also steel texture change and development will be watched byoptical microscope. Then how the magnetic field parameters influence grain growing isfound. What’s more to lay the foundation for further search for the most effectivemagnetic field parameters. And it can provide good performance of cold rollingprocessing of raw materials. The austenite steel was radiated by the intermediate frequency pulsating magnetism, and the effects that pulsating magnetic on the austenite transition were studied. The resultshows that the pulsating magnetism promotes the austenitic grain growth of low carbonsteel. If the magnetic field intensity were increased, it could provide good performance ofraw materials to cold rolling processing.
