TB5titanium alloy is a new β titanium alloy which was developed by the United States air force. The alloy has good casting property and cold forming property. It can be processed into planks, strips, pipes and so on The disadvantages of the alloy are low elastic modulus, high springback property and strong anisotropic. The microstructure and mechanical property of TB5titanium alloy sheet with different cold rolling deformation (50%,60%,70%and80%) and annealing process were researched by OM, XRD and EBSD.The experimental results show that the typical microstructure of the plate is P equiaxial grains, which size is about60μm. The grains elongate along with the rolling direction and the size more than200μm after the50%,60%,70%and80%of cold rolling deformation. Under800℃annealing treatment, the cold rolling plate start recrystallization heated5minutes and finished recrystallization heated15minutes.It is that the dominating texture{113}<332>and{112}<111> and the subordinating texture{001}<110>are formed when the cold rolling deformation are50%、60%、70%and80%by unidirection. The texture{112}<111> and {113}<332> was formed when the cold rolling deformation is increased from50%to70%. The texture{001}<110> and was formed by two times reversed cold rolling70%. After annealing treatment, the annealing texture{113}<121> and {113}<332>was formed, which was consistent with the original TB5alloy plate.When the one-directional cold rolling deformation increased from50%to80%, the tensile strength increased from1050MPa to1180MPa, the yield strength increased from950MPa to1110MPa, the elongation was from9.2%down to5.2%. With the reversed cold rolling deformation increased from50%to70%, the tensile strength increased from1060MPa to1125MPa, the yield strength increased from957MPa to990MPa, the elongation was from9.5%down to6.5%. When two times reversed cold rolling deformation was70%, he tensile strength was1100MPa, the yield strength was980MPa, the elongation was7.0%.When the alloy plate was annealed after cold rolling, the tensile strength and the yield strength were significantly reduced, but elongation significantly increased. With the alloy plate was annealed after one-directional cold rolling, the tensile strength was in the range 740to795MPa, yield strength was from705to740MPa, the range of elongation is21.2%to28.2%. When the alloy plate was annealed after reversed cold rolling, the tensile strength was in the range777to785MPa, yield strength was from725to742MPa, the range of elongation was22.2%to28.0%. It is that the alloy plate was annealed after two times reversed cold rolling, the ensile strength was in the range785to792MPa, yield strength was from728to740MPa, the range of elongation between19.2%and21.5%.
