Adhesive lining is the main accessories of garment industry,which impact the skeleton ofclothing. The application of adhesive lining cloth,clothing was pump、crisp、graceful、washableand durable. Therefore, the use of interlining cloth caused a revolution in the garment industry.With the improvement of living standards, functional fabrics are emerging. For example,waterproof, moisture permeable, anti-static, anti-bacterial, flame retardant and resistant to hightemperature and so on. In these functional fabrics, coating fabrics has excellent waterproof andmoisture permeable, anti-Cashmere, anti-aging, resistance to high and low temperatureperformance, and the development is more and more quickly, yield is more and more.Theinterlining and fabric adhesive difficult, low adhesion fastness is one of the biggest problemscurrently faced by the interlining manufacturers.The development of functional fabrics bringpeople high quality of life, but also bring more and more challenges to the interliningmanufacturers.This issue combined with Freudenberg&Vilene interlinings (Nantong) Co., Ltd. encounteredinterlining and functional fabrics poorly adherent, adhesive fastness and low, there is a projectlaunched to improve interlining and fabrics bonding. First, the choice of four different componentsof the subject fabrics and four different types of plastic interlining, respectively, with afluorine-based repellent finish (TG-5040), a soft silicone waterproofing agent (SM-18, TF-4881,TF496), a fatty acid amide softener (DM-3128), acrylic stiffening agent (DM-3506), and vinylacetate-based stiffening agent (508) and fusible interlining fabric finishing pressure hot bonding,by testing composite fabrics peel force to analyze the impact of fabric finishing agents foradhesion. The experimental results show that: the greatest impact on the adhesion fastness issilicone finishing agent, its main chain is very soft, weak surface tension, the surface energy issmall, film-forming ability is nice, good thermal stability after the film is not easy to destroy, afterfinishing its greatest impact on the fabric surface is smooth fabrics.Secondly, with acrylates (PA) coating agent DS30and polyurethane (PU) coating agentTF677respectively coat polyester and nylon, using a commercially available laboratory coatfabrics and six coated fabric and fusible interlining pressure hot composite, adhesive fastness testresults showed that: PU and PES adhesive bond fastness, but all kind of adhesive bonding liningwere not with PA coated fabric bonded effectively.Once more, with a surfactant Octadecylamine, NN-ethylene double streamside, span of PA,PU, PES three kinds of powder surface modification, the double point of production methods for the preparation of the adhesive lining, and PA coated fabric pressing composite test bondingfastness. Then use the polyisocyanate prepolymer and a reactive solvent glue Fuller6636moisturecuring polyurethane adhesive PUR5610, interlining explore the change in the existing productionprocess and methods were used to spray direct composite interlining and fabric, try to improveinterlining and fabric adhesive pick fastness. The results show that: the surface active agent addedextent improves the bonding fastness, but the degree of improvement still cannot meet theproduction and administration requirements. The results showed that the original bonding strengthof adhesive lining and PA coated fabrics was18.6N,and the washed bonding strength was15.5N,when the amount of glue fuller6636was9g/m2.while, the original bonding strength ofadhesive lining and PA coated fabrics was22.4N,and the washed bonding strength was18.6N,when the amount of glue pur5610was9g/m2.they all have reached the requirement whichthe before and after washing bonding strength of adhesive lining and coated fabrics was18N and10N,according to FZ/T64025-2011.The type of damage among fabrics and adhesive linings ismixed damage. The adhesive for lining and PA coating fabrics was excellent.In summary, the bonding process for hot melt adhesive and fabric is a complex physical andchemical reaction process, and the bonding process is affected by many factors.Adhesives development for the interlining of progress and by changing the existingproduction processes, use wet curing PUR hot melt adhesive can both improve the bondingstrength of composite fabrics and greatly increase production efficiency.
