| The textiles finished with fragrance microcapsules not only has a pleasant aroma and flavor, make people feel good, cure disease, but also the scent can last a long time. At present, thedetection of slow-release effect of the fragrance microcapsules fabric is mainly sustained release, imitate the fragrance microcapsules textiles under natural conditions and generally need bepretreated using Soxhlet extraction method. The extraction process need long time, and makedetect process slowly, which easily lead to flavors loss. It is difficult to meet the demand for rapiddetection of large numbers of samples. To solve these problems, an efficient and accurate methodfor detecting sustained release effect of textile finished with flavor microcapsules was established.Firstly, the main volatile fragrance components of three common flavors, including rosefragrance, lavender fragrance and lemon fragrance, were analyzed by using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Then the rose fragrance microcapsules, lavender fragrance microcapsules, lemon flavor microcapsules which were finished on cotton, linen and wool fabric, respectively, and formed9samples. Finally, the sustained effects of the fragrance microcapsules fabrics weremeasured by conventional headspace gas chromatography, UV spectrophotometer and rapidequilibrium headspace gas chromatography, separately. The results showed that the mainly volatile substances of rose oil, lavender essential oil andlemon oil are D-citronellol, linalool and (-)–limonene, respectively. Under natural equilibriumconditions, nine samples were measured by conventional headspace chromatography and UVspectrophotometry. The results showed that the flavor remains were50%-60%and45%-50%respectively after balancing12weeks and16weeks under natural conditions. On the other hand, the flavor remains of all9samples were more than50%after heated2min at (50±5)℃detecting by rapid equilibrium headspace gas chromatography, which is equivalent to that innatural equilibrium conditions for at least12weeks. Comparative test results of three methods, therapid equilibrium headspace gas chromatography with short detection time, less interfering factors etc. can achieve the rapid detection of release effect of the textiles finished with fragrancemicrocapsule. |
