Blast furnace gas pressure generation technology and dry dedusting processes areadvanced technology in order to reduce energry and promote the recycle. After thetechnology promotion, HCl of blast furnace gas causes problems mainly about BlastFurnace Top Gas Pressure Recovery Turbine (referred TRT) and produces large amountsof gas at the gas wall fouling and corrosion, which caused TRT blade vibration, pipelinecorrosion, leaks and gas stove regenerator checker bricks regenerative efficiency anddecreased seriously affect the normal blast furnace smelting and bring safety hazards.Therefore, the study HCl removal of blast furnace gas is of important significance.By HSC thermodynamic calculations and experimental studies comparing betweendifferent active ingredients antichlor chemical reactions test uses a breakthrough time andlow saturated chlorine capacity as an evaluation to confirm the effective agent for blastfurnace.The results showed that the mechanism for HCl generation in the blast furnace ismainly NaCl and HCl P2O5, NaCl, SO2and NO2in the presence of steam under theconditions which is at300~800℃and1400~1600℃. Na2CO3, limestone andKOH are suitable. Diameter is a sufficient condition to protect dechlorination. The rangeof the rational antichlor diameter is3~10mm. Antichlor low saturated chlorinecapacity increases with increasing temperature, while the speed of low saturated chlorinecapacity increace become slow. In the range of0.10~0.14Mpa pressure, low-temperature saturated chlorine capacity is not change, which means that increasingpressure can not affect antichlor chlorine capacity saturation. CHD type owns higherantichlor low saturated chlorine capacity, longer breakthough time. By appropriate activecomponent selection and matching, it uses appropriate antichlor balling and moldingprocess, which can develop suitable blast furnace gas dechlorination agent.
