Textiles are indispensable necessities of people’s life. With the development of science andtechnology, textile fibers are more and more plentiful and the requirement of appearances andqualities are much higher. Textile performance correlate closely to the fiber performance, so thescientific identification of fiber is very important in textile production control and new productanalysis.Because the traditional inspection depend more on manual operation, workers are usuallyexposed to corrosive agents which will bring detrimental effect to human body. Workers operateby their experience, which will make dosing volume deviates actual requirement and effect theveracity of test results. With the improvement of health conscious and the development oftechnology and automation, dosing automation and informatization in fiber quantitative analysis isan urgent task, which is favorable of a whole fiber detection industry of our country.By theoretical study and integral behavior analysis, this research accomplished the dosingsystem design of blended textile fiber quantitative analysis device, eliminated the potential hazardto workers and the inaccuracy of dosing value. the main work has three parts as follows:(1)Through analyzing the function of dosing system, it determined the dosingsystem’s overall architecture of fiber quantitative analysis device and completed the design ofthe the dosing device, drainage device and conveyer and realized the automatic dosing function ofthe system.(2)Based on the dosing system of fiber quantitative analysis device needs, it completedthe hardware design and program design of PLC control system and through the software andhardware of cooperate to realize the automate work of the system.(3)Dosing system PC software has been developed.Using programming port communicationprotocol and PLC for a serial port communication to send control instructions, it has implementedthe fiber content test need to add the dissolution reagent and neutralization reagent, add liquidvolume and add liquid position.
