At present, the feed additives such as glycine metal complexes have not clear datum of structures, the analysis of the related products also has certain dispute. In this thesis, six crystals of Amino acid trace element complexes were synthesized by reaction of glycine acid, N-carbamyl-L-glutamic and metal salts as reactants and characterized by content analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy. the single crystals were got by the solvent evaporation method. And the crystal structures had been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction data through SHELXTL program. Results as follows:The crystal of compound [C6H10N2O6Zn] (1) belongs to P2c triclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.503220(1) nm, b=1.33747(4) nm, c=1.29944(4) nm, α=90.00°, β=92.987(2)°,γ=90.00°. In compound 1, Zn(Ⅱ) and the symmetry formed Zn(Ⅱ) ions are connected by five atoms from four ligand anions and a water molecule. A ligand with two carboxylate groups, one connected a Zn(Ⅱ) ion, and the other is bidentate carboxylate group bridge two Zn(Ⅱ) ions. The ligand bridges four Zn(Ⅱ) ions through amino group and two carboxylate groups with a water molecule to yield a 3D coordination polymer structure with hydrogen bonds. The crystal of compound [Zn(C2H5NO2)2-4H2O]SO4-ZnSO4-6H2O (2) belongs to P-1 triclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.59592(3) nm, b=0.67768(4) nm, α=1.31854(9) nm, a=85.128(5)°, β=83.251(5)°, γ=82.974(5)°. Hydroxyl oxygen of two ligands and four water molecules were coordinated with a Zn(Ⅱ), and Combined with six hydrated Zinc Sulfate to form the complex by hydrogen bonds. The crystal of compound [C4H10N2O5Zn] (2’) belongs to P-1 triclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.90955(5) nm, b=0.95142(6) nm, c=1.04043(6) nm, α=106.197(5)°, β=105.973(5)°, γ=106.576(5)°. Water molecules in Complex 2’were not involved in coordination, Zn(Ⅱ) for the five-coordinated formed the distorted trigonal bipyramidal conformation. The Carboxyl oxygen of Glycine formed large π bonds after coordination, one of the O atoms, N and Zn(Ⅱ) formed five-membered chelate ring with another O bridging two Zn(Ⅱ) ions. Structure units of Complex 2’constituted the macromolecules to form chelating polymer by hydrogen bonds between the crystalline waters and ligands. The crystal of compound [C2H9NO8SCu] (3) belongs to P-1 monoclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.76142(2) nm, b=1.23131(2) nm, c=0.83561(2) nm, (3=90.910(2)°. Cu(Ⅱ) ions coordination number is 5, coordination polyhedron as distortion of square pyramid configurations. Carboxyl of Glycine in coordination, one of the O was connected with Cu(II), another O bridge was connected two Cu(II) ions to forming polymer. The crystal of compound [Fe(C2H5NO2)2·4H2O]SO4·FeSO4·6H2O (4) belongs to P-1 triclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.59949(3) nm, b=0.67626(4) nm, c=1.3192(6) nm, α=85.453(4)°, β=82.914(4)°,γ=83.115(5). Its structure is similar to compound 2. The Fe(Ⅱ) ions coordination number is 6, coordination polyhedron as distortion of Octahedral configurations. The crystal of compound [Mn(C2H5NO2)2·4H2O]SO4MnSO4·6H2O (5) belongs to P-1 triclinic space group, with following cell parameters:a=0.60244(3) nm, b=0.67869(4) nm, c=1.3911(8) nm, α=85.447(5)°, β=83.221(5)°, γ=83.229(5)°. Its structure is similar to compound 2 and 4. Center of complex ions of Mn(Ⅱ) coordination number is 6, coordination polyhedron as distortion of Octahedral configurations.
