This paper delved into formaldehyde purification mechanism and influencing factors of the ecological konilite-based coating. The related mechanism of photocatalytic formaldehyde by the FT-IR, SEM, TGA characterization in konilite / nano-Ti O2 composite powder, konilite was studied with nano-Ti O2 in coordination enhancement effect of formaldehyde purification. Studied the effect of formaldehyde purification rate on coating with negative ions powder, climate conditions and the color factors. The results showed that:(1)The Si-O···Ti or Ti-O···Si bonding formed between konilite and nano Ti O2 after mixing ball mill, the infrared wave is located in around903cm- 1, and its peak location deviation With the extended ball mill time.Konilite has a certain effect of titanium dioxide, improving the formaldehyde purification rate by raising photocatalysis point, the addition of anion powder can make coating has certain formaldehyde purification ability, especially at night. So konilite has certain complementary effect on nano-Ti O2.(2) The influence of environmental factors on the formaldehyde purification rate of ecological konilite-based coating was researched. And the magnitudes of influence of the factors were in the order of humidity>illumination intensity> temperature. Set two humidity conditions. One hand, formaldehyde purification rate is very fast reached 90% within 2h,high humidity formaldehyde purification rate is higher than low humidity,other hand, purification formaldehyde efficiency is as high as 93% without light. Because negative oxygen ion released by anion powder can oxidize formaldehyde effectively(3)SEM showed that konilite is helpful to improve the dispersion of nano-Ti O2.The formaldehyde adsorption capacity of porous material and negative oxygen ion released by anion powder catalytic oxidation work together formaldehyde, making coating still has the very high purification rate at night, the adsorption of formaldehyde catalyzed oxidation againduring daylight, and the adsorption function recovery, this has created durable ability of purification formaldehyde on this coating.(4)The konilite /nano-Ti O2 coating with color have researched on the purification performance to formaldehyde, and formaldehyde purification rate reduced in color coating compared to formaldehyde purification at96% performance contrast sample. Red, orange, green, blue, and purple formaldehyde purification performance is almost the same, about 93.2%,falling by 3%; yellow and yellow-green formaldehyde purification performance degradation is more, at about 90%, reduced by 6%; The absorption near ultraviolet light is relatively stronger at yellow and yellow-green, effected formaldehyde purification rate on coating. Coating surface occupied by pigment point, reduced the photocatalytic level of nanometer Ti O2. On the other hand, the colored coating temperature will rise slightly, could help to improve the photocatalytic reaction, the result of joint action of colored paint formaldehyde purification performance decreased.The content of the research have a good guidance to product improvement, also it can promote the application of products and upgrade,driving the development of the diversity of the coating product, created a good value in economic and social.
