In recent years,waterborne coatings have been paid more and more attention,the utilization of industrial and agricultural wastes to prepare waterborne coatings with certain functions is the focus of research and popularization in the coating industry.Shell powder is obtained from the coastal waste shells by crushing and grinding,the main component is calcium carbonate,has a high strength,good adsorption capacity and other properties.A large number of waste shells are produced in coastal areas of our country every year.By recycling and making full use of the waste shells in coastal areas,the waste shells can be turned into treasure,which is in line with the national policy of comprehensive utilization of resources,circular economy and development of green building materials.Shell powder raw material at first,this paper researched,on this basis,the preparation of different calcination temperature of shell powder performance analysis and comparison,the optimal performance of the selected shell powder,with its for the preparation of the functional coating,to explore the shell powder content and the change of dosage of components in the coating effect the performance of the coating,and through the study of shell powder and mixed with nano materials,further improve the formaldehyde purification performance of shell powder coating.In this study,various properties of shell powder in different states were tested by calcining,curing and drying the shell powder at different temperatures.The results show that the calcined shell powder has better comprehensive performance and higher whiteness,viscosity and specific surface area.By calcining slaking shell powder for the preparation of waterborne shell powder coatings,shell powder as the main functional filler,coarse whiting is a regular packing,rutile type titanium white as pigment,ECO702 net flavour emulsion as basic material,mixed with the right amount of antifoaming agent,cellulose ether,wetting agent,dispersing agent and film-forming agent,thickening agent,such as multifunctional additives,the preparation of a kind of green environmental protection shell powder coating.The performance of waterborne shell powder coating was studied and analyzed by single factor experiment:(1)By changing the ratio of heavy calcium to emulsion,the influence of different ratio of heavy calcium to emulsion was tested.The results showed that the number of washable brushes decreased with the increase of the paint base ratio.(2)The performance of waterborne shell powder coating was studied by changing the packing ratio.The results show that when the amount of shell powder and heavy calcium is equal,the performance of the coating can achieve good results.The adsorbability of the coating increases with the increase of the amount of shell powder,but the amount of too much will lead to the viscosity is too large,the construction of the coating has a certain impact.When the amount of shell powder is 17.5%,the performance of the paint can be maximized.(3)Emulsion is an important component in coatings.By changing the content of emulsion,the variation of various properties of coatings was studied.The results show that the content of emulsion has a direct influence on the absorbability and the resistance to washing of coatings.Therefore,according to the actual demand,the amount of emulsion in the paint to adjust.(4)Nanometer titanium dioxide loading was carried out on shell powder to improve the purification performance of waterborne shell powder coating.The results showed that the photocatalysis and adsorbability of the shell powder coating were improved greatiy.Comprehensive analysis of this study is to get all kinds of raw materials on the properties of water shell powder coatings are studied and determined the optimal formula of waterborne shell powder coatings,and test their various performance,the results show that the basic properties of the waterborne shell powder coatings are conform to the requirements of the corresponding national standards,but also has excellent wet,formaldehyde purification,and other functions,is a kind of green environmental protection water-based interior wall coating.
