For a long time, in our management and control of environmental pollution, always has been emphasis on point source pollution, but neglected nonpoint source pollution. In recent years, farmers in order to improve production efficiency, they use a glut of fertilizers and pesticides, causing serious agricultural nonpoint source pollution, leading to increased environmental damage agriculture, restrict the sustainable development of agriculture. Three Gorges Reservoir unique natural environmental conditions could easily lead to non-point source pollution, which greatly impact on the water environment of the reservoir area. To propose targeted prevention measures to achieve the Three Gorges reservoir water environment protection and sustainable development, strengthening agricultural nonpoint source pollution control is necessary.Three Gorges reservoir area due to its special position as one of the most important sensitive ecological and economic zone. Because of special terrain, socio-economic structure is irrational in the Reservoir, agricultural nonpoint source pollution pressures greater than normal area, therefore, research on agricultural non-point source pollution in the area is also very necessary. Based on the current characteristics of nonpoint source pollution in the Three Gorges Reservoir, analyze factors point source pollution in the area, select a typical part of the county area of Chongqing Three Gorges Reservoir segment as the research object, and the typical regional household survey on non-point source pollution Data is based on willingness to pay farmers to participate in agricultural nonpoint source pollution control in the regression analysis(article mainly related to soil and water quality are two environmental factors), drawing reference developed agricultural nonpoint source control measures, draw-point source pollution in the Three Gorges Reservoir Control measures in order to provide a reference for the area reference point source pollution control.The main conclusions of this study:(1) After the investigation of cognitive farmer-point source pollution, and 72.92% of the households of their understanding of the concept is unclear, and there is no awareness of the devastation of agricultural nonpoint source pollution.(2) For the aspects of water quality and soil pollution control, respectively, 20.58% and 45.13% in the form of donations and volunteers willing to improve water quality and make the payment, respectively, 27.8% and 55.6% in the form of donations and volunteers willing to soil improvements to make payments.(3) Logistic regression analysis, the following conclusions: the farm household income, the proportion of agricultural households total household income, age of farmers, arable land, farmers’ education level was significantly correlated to improve water quality and soil their willingness to pay. Willingness to affected farmers on water and soil pollution are willing to pay the amount of time on the water quality and soil quality improvement payments was not significant.(4) awareness of farmers on agricultural non-point source pollution prevention is weak, some farmers refused to pay for the prevention of non-point source pollution, the vast majority of farmers across the source pollution control have a herd mentality.Based on prevention of foreign and other areas’ non-point Source pollution of agricultural,this paper presents the Three Gorges Reservoir prevention countermeasures of agricultural non-point source pollution. Prevention recommended that in the short term to financial compensation, and to strengthen the knowledge-based education and advocacy for agricultural nonpoint source pollution, while in rural areas the state should improve the monitoring mechanism as soon as the relevant local conditions to carry out agricultural nonpoint source pollution control.
