The metal coordination polymers as novel molecular functional materials, have aroused great interest in chemists, bacause of their have potential applications in optics, gas adsorption, catalysis and molecular recognition, etc.In this work, we chose the H4abtc(3,3’,5,5’-azoben-zenetetracarboxylic acid), H2pbda(4,4’-{[1,4–pheny-lenebis(methylene)] bis(foxy) dibenzoic), H4pbta(5,5’-phenylenebis(methylene)-1,1’-3,3’-(benzene-tetra- carboxylic acid) as a main ligands, obtained 15 new coordination polymers through hydrothermal synthesis. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray single crystal diffraction, XRD pattern, FT-IR spectrum. In this thesis, the fluorescence properties and the photo catalytic activities of some compounds decomposition of methylene blue(MB) under UV light have been investigated.Using the 3,3’,5,5’-azobenzene-tetracarboxylic acid as ligand, have been assembled successfully an unusual water tape notated T10(0)A0 is observed in [Co2(abtc)(phen)(H2O)]·12(H2O)(3). At low temperatures by selecting the appropriate template reagents, synthetic get two microporous coordination polymers [Co2(abtc)(H2O)3]n(5), [Zn2(abtc)(H2O)3(DMF)]n(6). Study the fluorescence property change of compound 6 by adsorption different organic molecules.We chose H4pbta(5,5′-phenylenebis(methylene)-1,1′-3,3′-(benzenetetra-carboxylic)) acid as the oxygen ligand, and five entangled coordination polymers were synthesized, namely, [Zn(pbta)0.5(m-bimb)]·H2O(7), [Zn(pbta)0.5(bpa)]·2H2O(8), [Zn(pbta)0.5(bpp)·H2O](9), and [Zn(H2pbta)(bibm)]·H2O(10),[Zn(H2pbta)0.5(bibm)]·2H2O(11). In addition, compounds 7 and 9 possess high photodegradation efficiencies for MB contaminant under UV light irradiation.Four entangled coordination polymers synthsized by sued H2pbda(4,4′-{[1,4-phenylenebis(methylene)] bis(oxy)}dibenzoic) as main ligand, These compounds are [Zn(pbda)(p-bimb)]·H2O(12), [Zn(pbda)(bpa)0.5](13), [Zn(pbda)(bpp)](14), [Zn(pbda)2(bibm)2](15). The potential recyclability of the compounds 13 and 15 were studied. It was shown that the catalytic compounds could be reused for fifth cycles, still has a certain catalytic effect.
