The micro/nano particles on low surface energy of silicone coatings were prepared and characterized for the purpose that the environmentally friendly anti-fouling coatings were the main development direction of marine anti-fouling.In this paper, nine kinds of micro/nano particles were selected to prepare the silicone coatings. The performance of emulsion and its film were characterized by SEM, CLSM, measuring instrument of contact angle, tensile testing machine, FTIR, adhesion of marine bacteria as well as soaking in seawater. The appropriate particles were screened from nine kinds of particles as the filler of coating, a. low surface energy of silicone coating was designed. By changing the additional of the catalyst and the curing agent, t- he performance of emulsion and film were characterized with the methods of surface characteristics, modulus elastic and immersed in seawater.The results showed:with the additional of micro/nano particles, hydrophobicity of coatings increase due to the increase of surface hardness (the coatings which were added to fumed silica and nano silica were exceptions) and their mechanical properties significantly improve, the particles are not significant separated out when the coating samples are immersing in seawater, the additional of micro/nano particles don’t cause the ability of resistance to bacterial adhesion down by the experiment-adhesion of marine bacteria, but the cleaning rate of adhesion of bacteria reduces while it can also keep at 50% or more and the ability of resistance to immerse in seawater is stable; change the additional of catalyst can’t influence the surface energy and modulus elastic of coating samples, change the additional of curing agent can’t influence the surface energy of sample but the modulus elastic increases firstly and then decreases, during soaking in seawater, due to separating out of catalyst and curing agent, the surface of coating samples become up and down, that cause the surface hardness increases and the hydrophobicity of coating increases.
